- Well I have glued the parts of the height adjustment cover together and was about to do a bit of heat melding, but was interrupted by a friend, which encouraged me to show them the problem. In doing so I had a look at how the cover may have been broken. In the image below you can see damage to the inside of the bits that snapped off. This could only have occurred when the piece was intact meaning somehow an internal part cut into the cover
- It became apparent that when the adjuster is a max height it can pass the 10cm setting and with the strong spring could twang against the cover and damage it. It the cover was already under side pressure the two forces would put an unusual strain on it. See the next images
- Another problem with the mechanism is that the main plate is misaligned with the frame so that when using the level the movable part bangs up against a retaining bolt. See images
- There is also a problem with the height adjuster in its functioning as the stopping mechanism for max and min is set by a plate that has not been formed accurately. The problem being the lever can go beyond the 10cm and force can be suddenly applied to the cover, hence the break and hence there is no point me replacing it before this is fixed

The first driver, yesterday 4th had numerous excess baggage of excuse not to delivery. He tried but the van was sliding on the stones. He was not allowed to off Tarmac. He would loose his job - he's been warned before. His wife and kids would have no income. . .
The second driver also got worried and didn't drive, but when I explained everyone else manages he said next time he'll come down, no plethora of excuses.
