    Area2 > 84 There were a few clumps but no recolonisation from the east.

  • July 16th
    Area1green > Took the clearing saw to Riverland. I saw very few , none in flower. I tried the clearing saw with the shredder blade and was unhappy with it, so will keep an eye out for flowers and try using with the two bladed cuter when it arrives.
  • July 17th
    Area2 > Used clearing saw to clear path and cut 9 in the process.
  • July 18th
    Area2 > Pulled 52 from area up to and including the willowed part of the bund and 45 east of that.
    Cleared the top of the bund, east of the shore willows, some 65m
  • July 19th
    Area2 > Slashed either side bund, east of the shore willows, some 20m
  • July 21st
    Area1(red 3, yellow2; green 45) > Those in the green where pulled along the boundary with the drain to the west, the fence to the north and the drain to the east.I also pulled 20 from the neighbours land by reaching over the fence.

  • July 23rd
    1. Used brush cutter to clear path all the way the Area1blue
    2. Area1 green > 31 continuing south along the bund drain
    3. Area1 green > 35 continuing south along the bund drain
    4. Area1 green > 70 continuing south along the bund drain
    5. Used brush cutter, loppers and saw to clear path better to the far fields
    6. Area1 green > 61 continuing south along the bund drain to the willow so will use the brush cutter to extend. Pulled 14 from neighbours field.

  • July 25th
    Area2 > Found 8 stragglers and slashed another 20m east.
    Area2 > Found 40 hidden in side of drain and slashed another 20m east.
    Will amend map to show area covered.
  • July 25th
    Area1green > Used brush cutter to clear south east so finally complete the area as shown on map for the first time.
    Area1blue > Pulled 4 and used brush cutter to clear east a little.

    Area2red > Used brush cutter from the river bund drain to the northern drain, approximately along the red dotted line onmap
