The 39.6 acres has a landscaping plan to make efficient use of the various contours, sunlight and existing habitat.
The acreage is made up of three registered lots.
The first bought 'Leo' is some 15.75 acres. 7.18 is within the marsh boundary and of the other 8.57 acres maybe the 0.57 is low and flooded being next to the marsh.
The eastern boundary does not include the bund to the river, whereas the western boundary does include the two two bunds built to isolate from Okel Tor, though a small part of the extreme western bund has been occupied by a walkway belonging to Okel Tor
The fields to the west and south of the communal track have largely settled into young rough woodland, with the exception of two areas used for horticulture and as such is likely to be allowed to regenerate to woodland with little intervention. The plan below is the original and does not represent the present habitat.
This more detailed plan of the Leo fields shows less woodland, whilst the blobs in the white represent fruit trees.
The fields to the north and east of the track are still fairly open and more readily available for further horticulture. Using the triangle field, some 7 acres seems prudent to keep it from becoming a new woodland. The details of its use are laid out basically in the original landscaping plan, but personal use is a more difficult matter to settle. Most people would like to chose their place, but this would usually mean each person would chose the best location. Consequently the more preferred a place is the more likely it is to be kept a place for temporary use.
