Well some 23 years down the line of time it seems I may be making a small pond :)

I had started in this location some 6 years or more ago and have just widened it a little to some 4ft max and about 1.5ft deep at best. The water is from the drain along the hedge so will fill when there is lots of rain, but currently the pond is not water tight to any degree. So enlarging and finding some clay will be the next job. (Oct 22nd 2021)

Dec 8th Modifying drain channel to reduce water to pond to stop overflow. The stone, outlined yellow, is the height to set for the overflow. Currently it is on the edge of working. Maybe lower it another 1cm??
