Sillily I registered a domain name of [ wwwwii ] yet now I see the flaw in trying to clarify the philosophy this way, so will cancel renewal of the domain name - I think :)
Too many words? What does each word mean?
I suppose Wildlife is the key and what is 'integrity'? There is clearly a type of dictionary definition for the 'times' so what does the dic. say today.
If you would like to 'say' something you can.
Use this contact link. thanks
Actually now I have been thinking about it, the word 'with' came into view. Wildlife clearly could do with defining but 'with'?
What I did not use was either 'on' or 'under'. Working 'on' wildlife sounds a bit like changing it and that is not what I want to do. Working 'under' wildlife sounds as though 'wildlife' is the authority, and whereas it is of primary concern in the sense of representing individual freedom that means I also want to be from being under any obligations other than my own.
So there's an inkling of what wildlife is, a degree of autonomy, i.e. not under someone else's authority. That doesn't mean I am not constrained by my environment but I survive and grow in diversity and challenges to see all as a community. There is still the problem of 'wildlife' as such a community doesn't seem to be inclusive of the air, the mountains and the water etc. I.e. it seems hell bent on a biological focus. And whereas the biosphere is my obvious dependence for food and water, without the 'solids' where would I start.
One way of bringing the solids into play is to see them as the root of the biosphere and upsetting them will in turn upset the status of the wildlife. Equally changes to the wildlife may also inadvertently change the solids.
The solids may change without human input or that of other animals. Plants also, especially via root force cause changes to the rocks etc. precipitate rain which in turn may wash away the mountains in time
Apart from a rat or mole digging a hole it is arguable how sentient a plant may be in forcing it's way into the cracks in rocks. No one, currently, would give freezing water the degree of consciousness in splitting rocks that a plant could or could not have.
Here it is then, the human intentional changing of the solids for our comfort and survival. That it continues to the biosphere is clear and there is no limit to what biological entity a human will exploit. On mass there is clearly devastating effects for all, though it seems many humans do not care, and even more are not prepared to work on their own damaging demands.
Just had a text message from a human, well at least one with a degree of integrity rarely seen. So will use them as an excuse to pause.
Reading the above "that is not what I want to do" then I clearly have a huge problem, as I do make changes, intentionally. So I can see the word 'integrity' plays a part but in what way?
I can use integrity in the way I use the environment and here I avoided the word 'wildlife' but such a use still doesn't resound with all the wildlife, just maybe some of it. So could my heading be: "Working with Some of the Wildlife, as much as I can and screw the rest." This seems to resonate with the general activity of humans, and probably other animals too. So how wild can I be and is the wildlife any different from me in intention. Is there any overall integrity I can use other than just not being a consumer . . . I can't think of one.
So that brings me back to the idea of at least continuing to reduce the use of all resources and as humans are the most damaging element then clearly removing myself, as far as possible, from others influence and there by their company.
Is that is, a whole new web domain just to repeat myself . . . seems so sad.
Looks like I'm working on some of the environment for my own satisfaction and . . . not happy that I am so dependent upon destroying to survive. This is not living.
So I'm back to IELU, where the focus is to find a way to increase the ecology in my land use which takes me to ELF
Well clearly the logic wasn't enough. It gave me direction but no endemic tools of the body corporeal. But what about empathy, this is dodgy. People have empathy for their company and that may be there domestic dogs or farmed animals. But even so what does this empathy really mean to me, that I care ~ somewhat? I feel something, but is this all down to the five flesh senses, I see pain so I feel uncomfortable and want the pain in the other to stop, and what can I do. Take the pain away or at least some of it, but is that really for me. After all I don't feel the same about the people I image are suffering everywhere in that way. Their suffering is why I am writing this, so find a way to ease the suffering that not are people out of my sight enduring but that I am a significant part of the underlying abuse.
Where to start ~ Here would seem the sensible and only place but here it's a place it's a me and now doesn't exist so let's not play that game. It's not the future of the bio-sphere I am wanting to work with though I try very hard, but in understanding what I am. If I do not understand myself how could I start to work with another entity, let alone with increasing integrity.
I'm surprised I'm not 'lost for words' but then I only have 26 letters generally at my disposal, so maybe therein lies the key, I think in words and the path in understanding who I am requires to forgo words and that part of the mind working on solutions for this body mortal.
Back to IELU and ELF: The action is to use increasingly less of the external environment. The major exercise is to reduce the amount of money I use which in turn is used to get people to work for me. That's going well. The next is to cultivate land for my 'essentials' and in doing so see the actual damage I do and then learn by mistakes how to reduce the land. Both these reductions are continuous i.e. increasingly ecological, increasing less use of people via money and the area of land. Doing this with integrity is difficult as there are gaps. Like when I go to visit my mum I buy lots of chocolate etc.
However for 54 years my money for food has gone done to about £23 a week and some of that is excessive just to get the minimum delivery being far away from the suppliers, Essential-Trading, Bristol
Apart from my days eating only fruit from abandoned orchards and wast.I have in thirty years reduce the actual growing are from some 23 x 1.5 x 6m beds to 9. However I do have a few fruit trees, the fruit of which is most eaten by other creatures or rots on the ground and of course space for my residential wooden cabin.
The bane is mostly the router I run from the solar powered batteries, to run a server for this spiel and of course the iniquitous phone communications, another 'essential' both totalling £9 a week.
A staring point for arguments may be to attempt to define the words 'wildlife' and 'nature' this will effectively be a start to understand integrity in those arguing.
