Kaia was born to Onah and Steve and died after some six months following a few of months of meningitis. At the time she had a sister, Freya, from Onah and Gavin, and later a sister, Jalua, was born to Onah and Steve. Visiting
The burial in the western field was attended by Steve's relatives and a few friends. many trees were planted on her grave but only in the last few years has a sweet chestnut survived. It may have been the shade that stunted and stopped the earlier trees from surviving.
This chestnut is a few years old at least, so you can see it has struggled, it had even before it was planted here, so it's quite a tough plant. Maybe now I have felled more surrounding trees it will get some girth.
Visiting.
Permission is granted to visit, ideally during daylight, to Steve, Onha and Freya on the basis that they lived with her. Prior notification would be nice but not essential. Any of the aforementioned can bring company as long as the total at any time is no more than 4 people ~ exceptions will be made ~ but please contact me to discuss.
