Contract to do Nothing

Complicitness
Would you like a glass of wine? because I do! Maybe conjure up the spectre of some WMD as an excuse to cajole people to war.

By providing water to a thirsty lion I am relieving myself the awareness of it's suffering. It may make things worse for countless zebra; but all I know, is that I am suffering in my view that another maybe.

By providing material shelter for another I am complicit in their desire to continue the killing spree.

There was never an intention in the trust to be complicit in having pets, which is why the rule 6 mentions what circumstances it may be acceptable to have an animal, temporarily if it's injured, and it goes without saying that this would be a wild animal.

Although I am free do do as I will, for me to bring an animal on the land would make the other trustees complicit if I asked for their support. In extension, I do not like being in a position where I am encouraged by other trustees to be so complicit.

Noting the difficulty in feeling pressured to be complicit in an instance of having a cat marauding around has prompted the post on cruelty and the stance on not being part of animal use.
