June 18th The hybrid are some 5ft tall whilst the real TCR are over 3ft and some with flowers
June 10th The front bright is the TCR whilst in the triangle is the hybrid, which is bigger.

Both varieties are growing with the hybrid clear and obvious.

March 24th March 24th 2025 : Saw two new shoots April 1tth Counted at leats 18 shoots although they were all in 'western' part of the small site and I did not try and discover which variety they may be.
Peter visited to check on the tcr and was happy to see they had done so well, me too, but me too was even more happy as Peter brought a flagon of his home made cider and a book by Gavin Young 'Return to the Marshes' about his experiences largely around his visit to the Iraqi marshes south of Basra in 1976
