I cultivate lettuce as it one of the first veggies that I can crop and can be eaten raw, so with some 'vibes'. This year I did sow a row of seeds and maybe 1⁄3 grew. However from last years site, and surrounds, I have a couple of dozen 'volunteers' from the plants I left to seed. Most of these are the 'rose' type with red tinged leaves. So soon to make bread.
