The ongoing issues in transfers are, as an example with Steve
- Steve acknowledges that
a) he was not up to benefiting from the trust he created with me as a charitable asset
b) that as a trustee he has done nor wishes to have any responsibility for the land
c) that the sensible option is to remove his name from the title
- The transfer will be be at our convenience with any consequential liability: DONE 29th April 2025
- I have set up a new trust IELU which will manage the land with a more refined philosophy than the ELF trust but will incorporate the ELFs ethics
- To this end the land known as the River Land trust will become my sole responsibility under the settings laid out in the IELU trust.
Extraneous to this as I consider it not ethically centred, as Steve has voiced some regret about buying land to entrust I will recompense Steve's his investment plus interest from my own pocket.
In line with the ELF trust no founder is entitled to money from the sale of land unless it is used for a similar purpose. Hence the land will be transferred to me at no cost and future transfers will also account for the same.
No person shall gain from the sale of the land but may be Trustees of it's assets. So whereas I hope Steve can use the money I give to fulfil his original ELF aims and objectives he is not obliged to, nor to carry them out under any supervision as the money is from my personal assets.
