Until 6th May the water has been turned off at South West Waters stopcock, by the entrance to Harewood House.

The recorded water use on 6th may was from 24.2915 to 25.2139, some 922.4 Litres. Vera used whatever and left the pipe full.

3rd June I turned the water on finding no water left, this was really a mistake as I hadn't turned the tap by Vera's plot properly open. The final figure was 26.3405 when I had finished. However it seems likely that although I read the figure when I'd finished I may have forgotten to close the main stopcock, which explains why both Vera and I could use water over the next week when we each expected the pipe to have dried up.

10th June Found the stopcock open, which I closed, the meter reading was 31.1992

Given the past two weeks of dry weather I ventured into Harewood to see if I could find a greener patch of grass that may position a leak. I found one some 64 metres east of Alex Friendship's tarmaced parking place and 5 metres in from the track to Harewood House.

7th July Vera turned tap on. Closing reading: 32.1554

16th July Turned water on and off in the evening. Closing reading 36.5004 but meter spinning like mad even after turning off tap in Vera's field. Will post video.

21st October Vera has turned on the water once since last reading. The current reading as of 08:35 is 40.3137
