The Breach 2017Updated: September 19th, 2020

This is the earthen wall from the boat's mooring, east and north to the boundary. It deserves it's own post slot as there are significant changes to it's structure.
Last year a tree by the Japanese knotweed patch fell and took much of the bund with it. The higher ingress and egress at reducing tide hides is, increasing the damage.
April 22nd 2017 I have found a major and complete breach further north. The breach is some three to four metres wide and as much as ten metres into the field. The bund and field are completely washed away and it looks like a mooring.

I am felling trees that are in or adjacent the bund and that would cause further damage if they fell.
- 24th July 2017:
Felled large sycamore growing between the bund and the drain, across the drain, some 60m from the JK patch - Another some 18 further on that was growing in the bund, out towards the river
- and a willow on the riverside of the bund that fell north onto the sycamore.

There is only another 10m beyond the fallen tree across the bund until the breach.

The breach is at the very top of grid section: F4
