Undertook repairs today and finally could refit the cover.
There were three issues.
1. Remove the height adjuster and bent the flange. This needed heating and then smacking with a hammer and lump. See Page 8

2. Bend the adjuster so parts were parallel

3. Having done the above it now didn't align with the hole in the wheel legs so I elongated the hole with a file.

4. The above meant the adjuster didn't move as the bolt fixing it to wheel leg went up against the adjuster body, so the adjuster body was bend outwards. Note the small amount of light between the bolt head and the adjuster body frame.

Finally the adjuster cover, having been repaired was refitted knowing that the adjuster will not impact upon it.

Hi I spoke to you Thursday around 16:40 to say that the cover to the height setting was damaged, it still works OK.

Here are a couple of images (See main post page two)

1. The bits I found in the bottom of the box

2. The end of the cover where the bolt flange is missing.
I would be grateful if you can get a replacement part.
I will try and supper glue all the bits together.

I didn't drop the box but didn't notice any serious damage to the box either, it may just be a packing problem with poor handling. I will pay more attention to the second one, re the box and orientation of the plastic cover.

Although the instructions were in German I am asking Fiskars to supply an English version.
