Early morning I noticed three ox, they were not happy to see me and I was bit unsure of myself in terms of safety and how to treat them. If they could understand me I would have asked them to go to the far fields, where there's less human traffic, but somehow later they had gone back to their domestic habitat.
So apart from the issue that I don't like supporting the neighbours by feeding their business and hence supporting the use of animals I'd rather they escaped to the far fields and lived and died as they wish, but they chose to go 'home' such is their domestic instinct, aren't we all like that?
Of course other issue I thought about today is that their manure is probably contaminated with hormones so I've moved it to the track edge.
