2018 I tend not to track vegetable growing, but take exception here as this is a first and seems a delicate operation. They're delivered in a cardboard box 33×24×2(㎜), surrounded by damp newspaper in a biodegradable plastic bag.
It seems to hot to put them out now at 12 Noon BST so will wait till the evening. The plant spacing is recommended as 4 to 6 inches.
Some 120 planted out as the sun was setting in 4 rows of approx 25 plants with 6" spacing and 9" between rows.

This year I ordered 50/50 red (robelja) and white (bajosta) onions. Tamar Organics have again supplied some 20% above quota (59/64) only one of each was very small
I had only just cleared a bed on 25th, before the seedlings arrived today 26th April, so the bed didn't get a second weeding nor had time to settle, so not ideal and the bed is a bit shorter so the layout is tighter than last year.
Update: 14th May :: Not looking any better ??
