Electronic Communications
July 9th, 2020Since some decade before the 21st century, electronic communication has changed from telephone, to email, to website to social portals. To enable this at the ELF, until this year, that has been achieved via a standard telephone line that until the the 21st century could only cope with the telephone.
Due to social aspects of neighbour's desires I have agreed to have fibre optics installed. The image below shows the physical cables.

The flat 'fire bricks' cover the new fibre optic conduit, above which, fastened to an ash tree stump is the protrusion of an armoured cable that feeds the land line: currently used for all of the aforementioned methods ~ though no social medai options are exploited. To the left of the picure is the end on the fibre optics conduit awaiting Openreach's installation.
